Monroe's JV football team bested the Mules yesterday 30 to 6, adding on another win for the Trojans, improving their record to four wins and one loss.
Monroe amped up their energy and rose to the occasion to best their rivals.
Notable offensive powerhouses included Jacob Blosser, Xavier Hayes, Tristan Panza, all who scored, and Owen Boudrie, who had numerous game-changing blocks.
Owen Thomas did particularly well, but the entire Trojan defensive line was instrumental in the victory, as they only allowed a single touchdown.
"This year, our team dynamic has really been so much better than in the last few years. I think that everyone wants to win, and since everyone wants to win, we are playing like winners," remarked Xavier Hayes, who scored a touchdown to bring the Trojans into the lead.
